Medway Council’s new local plan

Medway Council is preparing a new local plan and would like your help to shape the area over the next 20 years. The first stage of consultation takes place from now until 29th February 2016.

Key issues for the plan include:

  • The best locations for new housing in Medway
  • Protecting and enhancing our environment
  • How people see its town centres
  • How employment can be boosted
  • Providing for services and infrastructure

You can view the Issues and Options consultation document online and copies are available at the reception desk of the council offices at Gun Wharf, public libraries and Community Hubs across Medway. You can find details of the locations and opening hours of these buildings at: www.medway.gov.uk

You can submit your responses to the consultation questions in the following ways:

Online: through a questionnaire

Email: planning.policy@medway.gov.uk

Post: Planning Policy, Regeneration, Community & Culture, Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TR
