Working Together – Environment Agency Consultation
In February 2016, the Environment Agency published its latest River Basin Management Plans. The plans outlined the actions needed to protect and improve the water environment.
As part of the agency’s review of the plans, it has launched its first phase of public consultation, seeking views on:
- how you can get involved in the review and update of the plans
- the proposed timetable and content of the programme of work to review and update the plans
- how other plans and strategies affect, or are affected by, the river basin management plans
- whether all relevant stakeholders have been identified
You can find out more information about river basin planning and future engagement, via the consultation link here. The closing date for comments is 22nd December 2018.
