Creating a UK Marine Citizen Science Strategy

Following discussions at UK Marine Citizen Science Network (MCSN) meetings around the idea of creating a UK Marine Citizen Science Strategy, the network would like to invite MCSN members and the wider marine citizen science community, to take part in a series of workshops this Autumn to co-produce a strategy, led by the Wildlife Trusts (the central charity for the UK’s 46 local Wildlife Trusts. As part of the work, it is hosting the following online workshops, open to anyone with an interest in UK marine citizen science.

The workshop dates are:

Workshop 1: 14th September 11:00 – 12:30 – To gather thoughts on what the benefits of having a UK Marine Citizen Science Strategy would be.

Workshop 2: 12th October, 11:00 – 13:00 – To gather thoughts on the actions needed to achieve the benefits outlined in workshop 1.
